It’s here – I’m Releasing Second Act: How To Pursue a Long Delayed Passion.
I haven’t released a book in months, because, well, life happened.
At the beginning of the year, I had plans to release three new books in the first quarter of the year. The first week I traveled for a family emergency, and that turned out WAAYYY more stressful than I’d ever imagined. (That’s a story for another time; I WILL be sharing it eventually.)
By the time I was putting together my release, the coronavirus was moving in, the world changed. I stopped the process and put everything on hold.
But a couple of weeks ago, I started asking: WHY?
The world is hurting at the moment. The entire world – cause we’re in this together. As a world, we have good days and bad days. As individuals, it’s like living in the Twilight Zone, always wondering what the next day will hold.
I listened to a podcast the other day. He stated that before, a lot of us were living in “good” so we didn’t have the push – the drive – to move towards “great.” We didn’t want to lose it all, and were more content to live in a state of “good” rather than take chances to push just a little bit.
But when you lose that sense of “good”, you reach. You move. You create.
Yep, that describes the world right now. We’re redefining “good.”. We’re striving to create our own “good’s” once again.
What better time to rethink everything, to very succinctly plan out your second act? To reinvent yourself for good, right now, while you have the time to plan it?
What are your dreams?
What do you want the rest of your life to look like?
Are you making a plan?
If not, I’ve got your back. Let’s do this thing together.
